Shandong Energy Group's Pressure Swing Adsorption Hydrogen Filling Project Successfully Tested
Recently, Guohong Hydrogen Energy (formerly Yankuang Group), a subsidiary of Shandong Energy Group, announced that its new hydrogen purification project for hydrogen refueling stations has successfully tested its pressure swing adsorption device, with a hydrogen purity of up to 99.999%!
This project is constructed by Yankuang Guohong Chemical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shandong Energy Group, located in Zoucheng City, Shandong Province. The raw material gas is hydrogen gas produced by the methanol purge gas hydrogen production unit, with a gas volume of 1050Nm ³/h. After purifying the hydrogen gas using a pry mounted PSA unit, 800Nm ³/h of hydrogen gas is produced for the construction of a hydrogen refueling station. The purity of hydrogen gas in the product reaches 99.999%, and the content of other impurities in the product gas meets the hydrogen standards for fuel cells, providing more possibilities for the development of green hydrogen energy.
The one-time success of this project's pressure swing adsorption device marks the development of hydrogen purification equipment towards convenience, compactness, flexible operation, low energy consumption, and exquisite reliability, creating more possibilities for providing high-purity hydrogen gas sources for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. At the same time, the smooth operation of this device also lays the foundation for the future construction of the hydrogen energy industry and the development of green hydrogen energy, providing decision-making support for the construction of a hydrogen energy system with the goals of safe, efficient, and clean development.
