On March 22nd, Sinopec released its 2025 annual performance report, stating that it would achieve an operating revenue of 2.78 trillion yuan in 2025, with a shareholder's attributable profit of 32.476 billion yuan. It is expected to distribute a cash dividend of 0.2 yuan per share (including tax) throughout the year. 

New progress has been made in increasing reserves, production and reducing costs in the upstream sector. Sinopec has continuously strengthened high-quality exploration and efficient development. Major breakthroughs have been achieved in shale oil exploration in the Bohai Bay Basin, new areas in Sichuan Basin, and offshore natural gas exploration. The national-level Shengli Jiyang shale oil demonstration zone has been successfully completed with high quality. Shale oil production has reached the scale of hundreds of thousands of tons. The equivalent production of oil and gas and the entire natural gas value chain profitability have reached record highs. The total oil and gas production for the whole year was 525.28 million barrels of oil equivalent, an increase of 1.9% compared to the previous year. Among this, the domestic crude oil production was 255.75 million barrels, and the natural gas production was 145.66 billion cubic feet, an increase of 4%. 

The refining and chemical business has undergone optimization and adjustment to cope with market changes at a low cost. In the refining sector, the operation of the facilities has been optimized to align with market demands, and the product structure has been improved. Cost-effective "oil-to-chemical conversion" and "oil-to-specialty products" processes have been promoted. The refining structure adjustment projects have been advanced in an orderly manner, and the production of marketable products such as aviation kerosene and lubricating grease has been increased. The output of chemical light oil has grown by 8.4% year-on-year, and high-end carbon materials have led the nation. The total processing of crude oil throughout the year was 250 million tons, and the production of refined oil was 149 million tons. The output of aviation kerosene increased by 7.3% year-on-year. The profit contribution from sulfur, petroleum coke, and other products has significantly increased. In the chemical sector, the potential for efficiency improvement of profitable facilities has been leveraged, costs have been reduced and fees have been decreased, and the competitiveness of the chemical business has been enhanced. The raw materials, facilities, and product structures have been optimized. The output of PX has reached a new historical high. The development of chemical new materials such as POE has accelerated. New and specialized markets have been expanded, and overseas markets have been vigorously explored. The total output of ethylene was 15.28 million tons, and the sales volume of chemical products was 87.12 million tons, increasing by 3.6% year-on-year. 

The refined oil sales department is striving to become a comprehensive energy service provider offering "oil, gas, hydrogen, electricity and services". Sinopec has coordinated market expansion and sales growth with transformation and development. Its oil product market share remains stable, and the sales volume of high-grade gasoline continues to increase. It has accelerated the layout of refueling and charging and swapping networks, actively promoted the development of hydrogen transportation, and the sales volume of vehicle Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) increased by 74%, the charging and swapping electricity volume increased by 182%, the hydrogen refueling volume saw a significant increase compared with the previous year, and the LNG refueling and hydrogen refueling services maintained a leading position nationwide. It has meticulously cultivated the "vehicle ecosystem" network and the "home life" model, and improved the quality of Easergy service operations. It has promoted internationalization, remaining the world's largest supplier of low-sulfur marine fuel. The total sales volume of refined oil for the whole year was 229 million tons. 

We have continuously intensified our efforts in innovation, and a series of innovative achievements in technology and digitalization have emerged. In the field of technology, the differential three-dimensional development technology for shale oil in continental fault depressions supports the efficient development of shale oil. The heterogeneous composite drive technology has been applied to various oil reservoirs with high salinity, high calcium, and high magnesium content. Significant breakthroughs have been made in high-end polypropylene cable insulation materials. 60K giant filament bundle carbon fiber has achieved industrial production. The independently developed seawater electrolysis hydrogen production device has become the first long-term stable operation demonstration device in the country. The 100-kilowatt iron-chromium liquid flow battery system has been put into operation for "light storage charging" at photovoltaic stations. In the field of digitalization, the "artificial intelligence +" initiative has been steadily implemented. The Changcheng series of large models have been completed and put into use, promoting the deep application of the intelligent operation center, accelerating the construction of intelligent factories, and three enterprises have been rated as national excellent-level intelligent factories, while one enterprise has been selected as one of the first batch of pilot enterprises for leading intelligent factories. A total of 9,953 domestic and foreign patents were applied for throughout the year, and 5,768 patents were granted. The quality of patents has remained at the forefront of the country. 

Sinopec stated that 2026 will be the starting year of the "15th Five-Year Plan". It will deploy and carry out six major battles: safety and environmental protection, energy security, marketing, efficiency improvement, scientific and technological innovation and integration, and reform empowerment. These efforts will comprehensively promote high-quality development. The company will focus on improving efficiency and effectiveness, coordinate the construction of the oil, gas, and new energy production, exploration, storage, sales and trade system, fully leverage its integrated advantages, innovate marketing concepts, and achieve maximum overall benefits. It will also strive for transformation and upgrading, accelerating the establishment of an "oil, gas, and new energy" tripartite balance in upstream business, promoting the high-end, intelligent and green development of refining and chemical business, expanding the vehicle natural gas sales network in the refined oil sales business, enhancing the quality and efficiency of charging and swapping, hydrogen energy businesses, and accelerating the expansion of the "second growth curve". It will also focus on scientific and technological innovation, integrating scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation, and launching a number of projects for integrated innovation in science and technology and industry. It will deepen and expand "artificial intelligence +", promoting the upgrading of industrial intelligent manufacturing.
