The 5,000-ton electronic special gas project of Cangzhou Huayu Special Gas Technology Co., Ltd., which was designed by Hebei Huafei Engineering Design Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Huafei Engineering"), officially entered the trial production stage at the end of 2024. The project is located in Cangzhou Lingang Economic and Technological Development Zone. The main products are electronic-grade silane gas and electronic-grade trichlorosilane. The production unit of this project is the largest single-set silane gas production unit in the country.
Electronic specialty gases are new materials that the country strongly supports and develops. They are called "chip blood" and are used in etching, thin film deposition and other links in integrated circuit manufacturing. They have a great impact on the performance, integration and yield of integrated circuits. Electronic grade silane gas is a high-purity electronic specialty gas that is not only used in electronic semiconductors, photovoltaics, display panels and other fields, but is also the main raw material for high-performance lithium battery silicon-carbon negative electrode materials and granular silicon. It can effectively solve the range of new energy electric vehicles and the cost and environmental protection problems of the photovoltaic industry.
As the overall design unit of the project, Huafei Engineering, with the cooperation of many units, has led the completion of the project's planning design, safety facility design, construction drawing design, and occupational health design. The project began designing in December 2022, passed the safety facility design review in October 2023, passed the planning review in January 2024, and cooperated with the owner in the second half of 2024 to carry out various acceptance procedures such as fire inspection and trial production review. The project has a heavy design task and a short cycle. During the cooperation process, the Huafei Engineering design team worked closely with the owner to overcome many difficulties and completed the design task with high quality and efficiency, providing favorable guarantees for the smooth implementation of the project. The rigorous and responsible attitude shown has won the recognition of the owner.
