Announcement on the Release of the "List of Hazardous Waste Exclusion Management (2026 Edition)"
In order to implement the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Wastes", in accordance with the relevant requirements of the "Implementation Plan for Strengthening the Supervision and Utilization and Disposal Capacity of Hazardous Wastes" (State Council Document [2021] No. 47), to improve the hazardous waste identification system and promote hierarchical and classified management, our department has revised the "List of Hazardous Waste Exclusion Management (2026 Edition)" (see attachment), and it is hereby announced.
Solid waste that meets the requirements of this list is not considered hazardous waste. This list is adjusteddynamically based on actual circumstances.
This list shall come into effect as of the date of its release. The "List for Excluding Hazardous Wastes (2021 Edition)" (Announcement No. 66 of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment in 2021) is hereby abolished simultaneously.
