The Work Exchange Conference for Engineering Survey and Design Industry in Sixteen Northern Provinces (Regions) and Cities was successfully held
To strengthen the communication and cooperation between the survey and design associations in the northern region of the engineering survey and design industry, and promote the healthy development and transformation and upgrading of the survey and design industry under the new situation. On June 26th, a work exchange meeting for the engineering survey and design industry was held in Dunhuang City, Gansu Province, among the sixteen provinces (regions) in northern China. Fu Hu, a member of the Standing Committee of the Dunhuang Municipal Party Committee and the Party Group of the Municipal Government, Qin Jun, the head of the Design Department of the Housing and Urban Rural Development Department of Gansu Province, Zhu Changxi, the Chairman of the China Survey and Design Association, Wang Zujin, Hao Ying, Wu Cundong, and other leaders attended the meeting. The Gansu Survey and Design Association was the organizer of the meeting. The Association's Chairman Cao Qing, Vice Chairmen Lv Shengxi, Jin Guanghui, Cao Jun, Ma Shengwu, Secretary General Chen Xueyun, as well as leaders of survey and design industry associations from 16 northern regions including Beijing, Tianjin, Shandong, Hebei, and Liaoning, and representatives of some survey and design enterprises from four southern regions including Guangdong, Guangxi, Sichuan, and Hunan were invited to attend the meeting. Fu Hu, a member of the Standing Committee of the Dunhuang Municipal Party Committee and the Party Group of the Municipal Government, first delivered a speech, expressing his welcome to the leaders and representatives of the China Survey and Design Association. Subsequently, Qin Jun, the head of the Design Department of the Gansu Provincial Department of Housing and Urban Rural Development, delivered a speech, stating that the holding of this conference not only provides a platform for communication and cooperation between the engineering survey and design industries in various regions of the northern area, but also provides strong support for industry associations to jointly explore industry development trends and prospects, promote the prosperity and development of the engineering survey and design industry in the northern region, and provide strong support. I hope everyone can speak freely and interact with each other. While providing advice and suggestions for the development of the industry, we actively explore how to position ourselves accurately, clarify our direction, clarify our responsibilities, and provide good services in the new stage of historical development. We should fully leverage the important role of social organizations in leading the development of the industry, face new challenges, and seek new ideas and methods for the work of the association.
Representatives from various industry associations had in-depth exchanges on the work, achievements, difficulties, and problems encountered by their respective associations in the past two years. Holding a work exchange meeting for local survey and design industry associations, exchanging experiences and practices in industry reform and development, exploring difficulties and hot issues in association work, and enhancing friendship between local industry associations is not only a tradition in the national survey and design industry, but also an important component of the construction of the industry association system.
Finally, Chairman Zhu Changxi made a concluding speech and put forward his views and requirements on the work of industry associations. He pointed out that firstly, we need to raise awareness, grasp the historical mission entrusted to industry associations in the new era, and help promote high-quality economic and social development. We need to deeply study the specific requirements put forward by the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China report for social organizations, especially industry consultation associations, and fully understand the high expectations of the Party Central Committee for industry associations and chambers of commerce to play a role in high-quality development. In the face of the new era, new journey, new requirements, and new challenges, we must strengthen the guidance of Party building, adhere to service-oriented approach, enhance our own construction, focus on risk prevention, and serve the overall situation around the center. The second is to strengthen the national awareness of "playing a chess game" and work together to promote high-quality development of the industry.
After the exchange activity, a flag handover ceremony was held. In 2024, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Survey and Design Association will host the next Northern Sixteen Provinces (Regions) Engineering Survey and Design Industry Work Exchange Conference.
