Hunan Survey and Design Association holds continuing education and training course for registered civil engineers (geotechnical)
From July 4th to July 7th, the Hunan Survey and Design Association held the "2023 Registered Civil Engineer (Geotechnical) Continuing Education and Training Course" in Changsha. More than 240 registered civil engineers (geotechnical) from the whole province participated in this training. The opening ceremony was presided over by Liu Yulin, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of Hunan Survey and Design Association.
This training invited Liang Jinguo, a national engineering survey and design master and the president of Hebei Engineering Survey and Design Consulting Association, as well as well-known experts from inside and outside the province, to give on-site lectures on "Analysis and Judgment of Anti floating Water Level", "Theory, Technology and Engineering Practice of Groundwater Control in Geotechnical Engineering", "Confusion of Geotechnical Engineering - Problems and Countermeasures", "Analysis and Discussion of Key Points and Problems in Slope Engineering Survey and Design", and "Inspection, Identification and Reinforcement Design of Existing Foundation Pit Engineering".
Liu Yulin pointed out at the opening ceremony that 2023 is a new cycle of continuing education and learning for registered civil engineers (geotechnical). I will actively organize experts to participate in the mandatory course teacher training of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development, and carefully prepare the training and learning courseware for registered civil engineers (geotechnical) in Hunan Province. At the same time, for elective courses, the association extensively solicited opinions and sorted out and summarized the hot and difficult issues that students were interested in. I hope that all engineers will study and apply what they have learned seriously, strengthen their awareness of production safety, enhance their comprehensive business capabilities, and make efforts and contributions to the development of enterprises and industries in their future work.
The 3-day training has ended, and the trainees have expressed that this training has broadened their horizons, improved their technical level, innovated their work ideas and methods, and played a positive role in further improving the quality level of engineering survey in Hunan Province and promoting the high-quality development of the industry.
