From January 22 to 24, the Second China Modern Agricultural Development Forum, the Entrepreneurs Forum of "Building a Powerful Country with Agricultural Means of Production" and the New Opportunities Forum of "the Belt and Road" Agrochemical were held in Beijing with the theme of "resonating with the times and becoming a powerful country with agricultural means of production", to jointly explore new drivers of agrochemical development and promote high-quality development of industry and modern agriculture.

The greening and ecological beauty of agricultural and rural modernization require new fertilizer varieties such as efficient compound fertilizers, slow-release fertilizers, liquid fertilizers, trace element fertilizers, and a series of efficient, green and environmentally friendly new pesticide varieties and formulations to meet the nutritional needs of different regions and plants, as well as the prevention and control of diseases, pests and weeds with high efficiency and low consumption.

Ma Changbao, Chief Agronomist of the Farmland Quality Monitoring and Protection Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, believes that China has gradually formed an overall layout for the construction and protection of arable land quality, namely the four beam basic framework of "inspection, evaluation, construction, and protection", which is implemented in a coordinated and synchronized manner.  

At the meeting, the Agricultural Materials Guide and Beijing University of Chemical Technology jointly released the results of a large-scale survey on typical samples of modern agricultural development in China. They released the survey questionnaire results for 2023, analyzed representative cases, and put forward ten policy recommendations.

The experts at the meeting also gave a detailed interpretation of the achievements, new opportunities, international agrochemical cooperation and suggestions of the "the Belt and Road" in the agricultural means of production industry, which was strongly affirmed by the representatives at the meeting.
