A new material production project with an annual output of 100,000 tons has been established in Ningxia.
On March 5th, the 100,000-ton/year polyvinyl alcohol project of Ningxia Shuangying New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. officially started construction. The implementation of this project will set a benchmark for the extension, supplementation and strengthening of the chemical industry chain in Pingluo County, as well as for improving efficiency and enhancing quality.
This project is located in Taisha Garden of Pingluo Industrial Park, covering an area of 500 mu. With a total investment of 1 billion yuan, it is a key investment promotion project of Pingluo County. The project relies on the capital advantages of the investing enterprises and the energy and resource comprehensive utilization advantages of the Earth Cycle Industrial Park. It is guaranteed by the stable quality of high-quality calcium carbide provided by the Earth Company. Based on the company's mature production technology management team and stable product market share, it breaks through the key chain of "calcium carbide - PVA - high-end new materials", converts and further processes local advantageous raw materials on-site, and promotes the industry to shift from "selling raw materials" to "selling products, selling technology, and selling brands", significantly enhancing the product value-added and enterprise profitability.
It is reported that this project plans to produce 100,000 tons of multi-variety high-quality PVA products annually. The construction period is 10 months and it is expected to start trial production by the end of November this year. "This project takes advantage of the circular economy industry strength of Dadi Group. It consumes 200,000 tons of calcium carbide, 150 million tons of steam and 10,000 tons of methanol annually, creating a cost advantage and building a leading production base for high-end and intelligent polyvinyl alcohol industry. After the project is put into operation, it can generate an annual industrial output value of approximately 1.5 billion yuan, contributing to the high-quality development of Pingluo economy," said Zhu Jinfeng, the executive vice president of the project.
