Strengthen team building and improve safety design level - HAZOP analysis application practice training
In order to improve the company's employees' ability to assess safety risks, improve the professional level of professionals, identify potential hazards in design, operating procedures and equipment, and eliminate the hazards in the project as much as possible in the early stages of project implementation, on the afternoon of July 5, 2023, Hebei Huafei Engineering Design Co., Ltd. organized relevant professional and technical personnel such as process, instrumentation, and evaluation to participate in HAZOP analysis application practice training.
The training was taught in the form of online videos with pictures and texts, and kicked off with the Bhopal leak accident in India. The focus was on process safety management and HAZOP analysis methods and practices. Hazard and operability analysis-HAZOP, which starts from "deviation", reversely finds the "cause" of deviation, forward finds the adverse "consequences" caused by deviation, identifies the existing "safety measures" on the entire dangerous road of "cause-deviation-consequence", and proposes improvement measures.
The training was rich in content, covering the basic concepts of process hazard analysis, HAZOP methods and practices, reactive risks of reaction systems, HAZOP chlorination reaction unit examples, LOPA methods and common problem analysis, HAZOP to LOPA analysis process (examples), HAZOP analysis report quality evaluation, safety requirements specification SRS, HAZOP analysis coverage, OSHA process safety management PSM, basic steps of process hazard analysis (PHA), common process hazard analysis methods, common reactive risks of reaction systems, hazard control measures, SIL rating methods, HAZOP software application and drills and SIL rating calculations. Through training and learning, the participating professional and technical personnel not only have a deeper understanding of HAZOP analysis application practice, but also broaden their ideas on risk analysis, while improving the intrinsic safety design work capabilities of various professions.
