Our country has officially achieved the capability for large-scale production of germanium-68.

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of pilot projects for the industrialization of high-tech achievements under the 2025 National Key Research and Development Program. 67 pilot projects and 108 pilot units were selected for the list. Among them, many achievements related to the chemical industry were included.
It is learned that this pilot project aims to enhance the connection between industry supply and demand, stimulate the vitality of innovation entities, and optimize the industrialization service guarantees. The goal is to effectively transform a number of key national research and development program achievements into practical productive forces.
After reviewing the list, the reporter found that this pilot program covers areas such as high-end functions and intelligent materials, advanced structures and composite materials, new displays and strategic electronic materials, rare earth new materials, high-performance manufacturing technologies and major equipment, intelligent sensors, and industrial software. Among the high-end function and intelligent materials list, the liquid cooling thermal management material preparation technology of Juhua Group Co., Ltd. and the single-phase immersion liquid cooling solution for data centers were included; in the advanced structure and composite materials list, the large-tonnage carbon fiber composite cables of Beijing University of Science and Technology were on the list. Shenyang University of Chemical Technology, the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Shanghai Chemical Research Institute Co., Ltd. were selected as the pilot units for industrialization implementation.
A relevant official from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated that the implementation period of this batch of pilot projects is two years from the date of the list announcement. Each pilot unit should promptly improve the pilot project implementation plan, actively promote the pilot work in accordance with the plan, and ensure the timely achievement of the pilot project goals. Local provincial authorities should increase policy support for the pilot units, promptly summarize the progress and experience of the work. After the expiration of the pilot period, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will conduct an assessment and evaluation.
