Hebei Saisel Junfeng Geophysical Exploration Equipment Co., Ltd. is a Sino-foreign joint venture enterprise specializing in the production of geophysical exploration cables and seismometers. The company's electrochemical workshop and sewage treatment use 21 kinds of dangerous chemicals such as potassium gold cyanide, nitric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrogen peroxide, sodium hydroxide, hydrochloric acid, ethanol, etc., and set up special dangerous chemical warehouses and highly toxic drug warehouses. It belongs to the hazardous chemical use enterprise. To this end, in November 2013, Hebei Saisel Junfeng Geophysical Exploration Equipment Co., Ltd. commissioned Hebei Huafei Technology Consulting Co., Ltd. to evaluate the safety of its hazardous chemical use process.
Hebei Saier Junfeng Geophysical Exploration Equipment Co., Ltd. was established in 2004, formerly known as Junfeng Company with 40 years of experience in geophysical exploration equipment manufacturing. The company is located in Suicheng Town Industrial Park, Xushui County, covering an area of 90 acres. The registered capital is 180 million yuan, and there are 468 registered employees. Over the years, the company has been committed to developing and producing geophysical cables and seismometers matched with the world's mainstream geophysical instruments. It has an annual production capacity of 3 million seismometers and 5,000 kilometers of geophysical data transmission cables. It is one of the most powerful manufacturers in the same industry in China.
The electrochemical workshop of Hebei Saier Junfeng Geophysical Exploration Equipment Co., Ltd. uses more than 20 kinds of dangerous chemicals such as potassium gold cyanide (highly toxic drugs), nitric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrogen peroxide, sodium hydroxide, hydrochloric acid, ethanol, etc., and has a special dangerous chemical warehouse and a highly toxic drug warehouse.
The project site is located at No. 1, Industrial Zone, Suicheng Town, 5km north-west of Xushui County. The company's factory area is adjacent to Gusui East Road (333 National Road) in the north, and the road is separated by the operating facade and winery. The west and south sides are farmland. There is a small rubber factory outside the northwest corner wall. There is no Class A and B place. The east side is adjacent to the company's living area. The east and west 2km of the factory area are Yangong Village and Suicheng Town, respectively. The north 2km is Xiefang Village, and the southwest 2km is Fu Village. The hygiene protection distance of the enterprise environmental assessment report is 50m.
